Lois Marjorie Scott, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born March 4, 1930 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter to the late Melvin W. and Hortense (Droegemeyer) Beucler. She was a 1948 graduate of North Side High School and married her husband, Jack, in 1950. Lois worked in accounting for Sears and Hardware Wholesalers, Inc. She was a member of Calvary Third United Presbyterian Church and enjoyed the outdoors in many ways, especially watching and feeding the birds. Lois enjoyed the many years and the time spent at her lake home at Big Long Lake, spending time with her family and friends. She was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed reading in her quiet time. She is survived by three children, Cherie Scott, Jacalyn (Duane) Green, and Gary (Dawn) Scott; grandchildren, Shannon (David) Summers, Stephanie (Chris) Chavez, Matthew (Jamie) Patterson, Ashley (Andrew) Seitz, Monty (Jessica) Sorg, Tyler Sorg, and Alexis (Cody) Bachelor; 23 great grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack A. Scott in 2003; grandchildren, Scott Glenn, Shawn (Tiffany) Glenn, and Natasha Sorg; sisters, Ruth (Jack) Heiniger, Jeanne (James) Witzigreuter, and DeLoris (Paul) Cattin; and brother, Richard (Marie) Beucler. Visitation for Lois will be on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm.
