Rev. Lloyd W Harlan, 92, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 19, 2022, in Fort Wayne, IN. He will be missed for his kind, gentle and humble spirit, and his love for all. Born in Kosciusko County, IN, Lloyd completed his undergraduate degree from Findlay College and later graduated with a Master’s of Divinity degree from Winebrenner Seminary. During college, Lloyd met and married the love of his life, Jean Sparks. He also spent 4 years in the Air Force as a Chaplain’s Assistant, being stationed in Texas during the Korean War. He most recently was an active member of the Trier Ridge Community Church. Lloyd had a passion for his family, music and Bear Lake Camp. He was always a steady rock for the family, dependable and faithful, and he treasured each of them. He was an accomplished vocalist (tenor) and trombonist, and he sang during college years in the Gospel 5. Lloyd directed summer youth camps at Bear Lake Camp for years, and continued to actively support the ministry throughout his life.
