Lisa M. Thompson

Lisa (Lee) M Thompson, 59, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Born on June 1, 1963, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of Larry and Nancy (Weisenbuger) Thompson. Lee went through 5 yearlong battle with cancer and fought endlessly till the end. Lee has lived her life dealing with good and bad. From losing a girls best friend “Ludo” to marrying the love of her life” Tee”. Lee wasn’t much of a people person but if she liked you then, you knew it. One person she always fought with was Alexa, but they learned to deal with each other. In her spare time, she enjoyed long days fishing on the lake, watching Stephen King movies on repeat, playing Dragonvale and spending time with her precious grandbabies as much as possible. Lee is also survived by her wife, Teresa (Gomez) Thompson, of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter Naomi Gomez (Tony Beam) of Palmyra, PA; stepdaughter Brittni Mantock (Cory Davis) of Fort Wayne; and 2 granddaughters Addilyn Beam, Ophelia Mantock; and sisters, Brenda (Steve) Wall, and Diane (Dave Caley) Burnworth. She was preceded in death by her Father Larry Thompson, Grandmother Arliss Woodard, Grandmother Willodene Thompson, Uncle Robert Thompson. Calling will be held from Noon to 2:00pm and 4:00 to 6:00pm, Sunday, January 22, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne. Inurnment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco. Memorial donations may be given to the family.
