Linda Pennell, 77, of Fort Wayne passed away on September 6, 2024 at Brickyard Healthcare of Churchman, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Linda was born November 25, 1946, to the late Herman and Ruth (Hamilton) Palmer. She went on to graduate from Indiana School for the Deaf; and retired from McDonald’s, after ten years of employment. Linda enjoyed playing card games with all of her friends. She also enjoyed latch-hook, just like her mother. There wasn’t a potluck nor family event where she would miss the opportunity to make her deviled eggs. She loved her family and friends deeply. Linda is survived by her two daughters, Carla Johnson and Jodie Pennell; her grandchildren, Eric Pennell and Jordyn Hannah; as well as her bonus grandchildren, Corey, Kay, Cyle, Micholas, Christopher, Tanner Hannah, and Hope Gerber; bonus great-granddaughter, Winifred Hannah; brother, Robert (Cindy) Palmer; and several nieces and nephews. She was looking forward to meeting her next great-grandchild, in March. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Ethan Palmer. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
