Kenneth John Wagner, 98, died Monday April 7, 2014. He was the son of the late William and Lena (Kessen) Wagner. He, along with brothers James and George, owned Indiana Flower Supply for 43 years. He was a 1st Lt. in the Army’s 5th Armored Division during WW II and survived the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He belonged to American Legion Post 496, and was a Life member of the Knights of Columbus. He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for forty years. His faith and his family were his life. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by Mildred, his wife of seventy-one years; son Timothy J. Wagner (Mary Lou) of Greenfield, Indiana; daughter Yvonne M. Stanski (Ron) of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Nancy Ann Wagner, four brothers and three sisters. Services 10:30 am Thursday April 10, St. Anne Home and Retirement Center, 1900 Randallia Dr. with visitation one hour prior.
