Judith "Judy" New

Judith “Judy” New, 59, of Fort Wayne passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. She was born on February 1, 1962. She graduated from Carroll High School in Flora, Indiana in 1980 and then earned her Associate degree in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth Community College. She worked as a homemaker, caring for and raising her family as well as working as the program director at her husband’s martial arts studio. Surviving family include her husband, Anthony New; sons, Aaron (Carrie Hatcher) and Alex (Gail) New; mother, Etta Byers; and sisters, Vicki (Steve) Anderson and Linda (David) Ritchie. She was preceded in passing by her father, Ralph Byers. A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
