Joseph Harold Luckey

Joseph Harold Luckey, 60, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He passed at his beloved family home after a short illness, surrounded by his family and friends. He was a graduate of Homestead High School and attended Indiana University, Bloomington. Joe spent 35+ years in the automotive industry and treated his customers like family. Joe was an avid fisherman, fishing from Lake Michigan, Lake Erie and all the way to the Gulf Stream of Key West, Florida. He was also an accomplished golfer, playing from city tournaments to Pebble Beach. Joe married the love of his life and best friend, Tracey (Choinski) Luckey in 2000. Joe is survived by his wife, Tracey; brother, John; and sister, Susan (Jon) Bahr. He is also survived by his in-laws, Paul and JoAnn Choinski and sister-in-law Kelly Greener (Adam). Other survivors include nephews, David, Andrew and Ian Bahr; and nieces, Maggie and Teagan Greener; grandniece, Lydia; and grandnephew Edson Bahr. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, James E. Luckey, MD and Sandra McComas. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
