Jon Michael Fortier

Jon "Michael " Fortier, 47, born July 16th,1976 passed away August 12, 2023 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is survived by his son, Jayden Michael Fortier; mother, Dale Fortier; father, James Michael Fortier; sister, Janelle (Jonathan) Hartman; nephew, Kayleb Blair; niece, Addyson Halien Blair. He was born in Valparaiso, Indiana. "Michael's" family moved to Ft. Wayne, Indiana when he was in 6th grade. He went to Homestead High School. Michael worked in the food industry since he was in his early 20's. Michael was preceded in death by his cousin, Brian Dale Barabas; maternal grandparents, Carl and Mary Halien; paternal grandparents, John and Ann Keleher. We are having a celebration of life gathering at the Southwest Conservation Club at 5703 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana on September 24th 2023 from 3-6pm. We are starting a Jon 'Michael ' Fortier Foundation to help food service employees and individuals in recovery.
