

John N. Talarico, 70, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Parkview Heart Institute. Born in Fort Wayne, John graduated from Central Catholic High School, class of 1963. He played football and was known as the "Biggest Center in the City". John worked as a purchasing agent at Magnavox for 32 years, and later retired from Zimmer of Warsaw after 5 years. He also enjoyed working in Real Estate while playing his favorite music, owning Old Gold Productions for 40 years as a DJ. John was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Pam Stilwell Talarico; daughter, Tana Talarico; and his grandson, C. Brice Vinson all of Fort Wayne; also surviving are his aunt, Annabelle Dirr; uncle, Sam Talarico Sr.; and many cousins. John was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Talarico and Norma Talarico Napier. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 am, Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 1122 S. Calhoun St, with calling 1 hour prior. Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
