John D Haynes Jr.

JOHN D. HAYNES JR., 64, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late John D. Sr. and Dorothy Haynes. He was the owner / operator of Heritage Painting & Restoration. John was involved with the Oakdale Neighborhood Association for the past 20 years and was on the board of Pocahontas Swim Club for several years. He was also a member of the N.R.A. and an avid antiquer. Surviving are his wife, Louise Haynes; son, Parker Haynes of Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind.; daughter, Baleigh Haynes of Purdue University, Lafayette Ind.; sisters, Julie Shackley and Alix Haynes both of Fort Wayne; brothers, Colby of Fort Collins, Colo., David of Plainfield, and Jeff of Brownsburg. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 420 W. Wayne St., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
