John J. Dumas, Sr., 61, passed away Tuesday, July 06, 2010 at home. He was born November 12, 1948 to the late Wilfred and Jeanette (Moison) Dumas. Mr. Dumas, Sr. worked for General Motors for 37 years and was a member of Avalon Missionary Church, VFW 1421, AmVets Post 33; he was an AmVets Rider Post 33. Mr. Dumas enjoyed golfing on Tuesdays and Thursdays, hunting, motorcycle riding and playing cards. He is survived by his wife Gina (Bilby) Dumas; his children John (Ana) Dumas, Jr. of Mass., Lisa Dumas of Ft. Wayne, Lydia (Dan) Sparling of Noblesville and Justin (Carly) Bilby of Ft. Wayne; his siblings, Doris Durand of Florida, Marie Houle of Florida, Georgette (Rene) Anger of Rhode Island, Elaine (Gerry) Duhamel of Florida and Richard (Trisha) Dumas of Rhode Island; his grandchildren, Ethan and Zeanna Dumas and Tiffany and Arturo Armas. He was preceded in death by his siblings Pearl Garneau, James Dumas and Marion Aubin. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 9, 2010 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Ft.
