Joe A. Campbell went to meet the Lord on December 12, 2024. He was the son of Clifford and Nancy (Jervis) Campbell and a 1979 graduate of Northrop High School. Joe took building trades in high school which led to becoming an accomplished woodworker at Creative Cabinets. He later worked as a custodian at Fort Wayne Community Schools with perfect attendance for several years. Joe was active in several activities with the deaf community.
Surviving are his mother, Nancy Campbell, brothers Mendall (Maggie) Campbell, Larry (Laura) Campbell, Mark (Keziah) Campbell, sister Judy (Steve) Frazier, and many nieces, nephews, and many other family members. Preceding Joe in death are his dad Cliff Campbell, a niece, Amanda (Frazier) Passcute, and grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, suggested memorials are Indiana Deaf Camp, 1434 South Warsaw St, Warsaw Indiana 46580 or Parkview Hospice.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 19 at 3PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes -- Pine Valley 1320 E Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825 with visitation one hour prior. In honor of Joe's love for bright colors, you are invited to wear them in his honor.
