Joan Blackburn

Joan (Joyce) Blackburn, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 5, 2022. Born on November 18, 1939, in Grabill, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Geraldine (Bartle) Sauder. Joyce worked for many years in the parts department at K&L Honda. She was an avid Komet Hockey fan and season ticket holder for over 40 years, and she was always up for a trip to the Bingo Hall. Joyce read nearly every large print Romance Novel at the Allen County Library. She is survived by her children, Jeffery (Jennifer) Blackburn, Brien (Deborah) Blackburn, Stephen Blackburn, and Christine Bickle; sister, Marilyn Jacquay; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Calling will be held from 4 to 8pm, Monday, January 17, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne. Inurnment will be in Leo Cemetery, Leo. Memorial donations may be given to Homebound Meals, Fort Wayne.
