Jimmie Gene Milholland

Jimmie Gene Milholland, 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his home. Born October, 2, 1936 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Joseph and Emma (Little) Milholland. A graduate of Central High School, Jimmie was a retired truck driver with Consolidated Freight for over 50 years. Jimmie loved spending time with his family during Saturday “get-togethers”.
He especially loved seeing his grandchildren who called him “Papaw”. He was always shopping for his grandchildren; buying them toys, candy, and gifts at every chance he had. Jimmie lived on five acres of land and enjoyed yardwork and gardening. He was married on November 27, 1959 to the love of his life, Nancy (Shannon) Milholland, who survives and resides in Fort Wayne.
He is also survived by six children, Tammy Sue Milholland, Tina Schaefer, Debby Tandy, Dee Dee Fudala, Michele (Vaughn) Dockery, and Matt (Lisa) Milholland, all of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Milholland of Fort Wayne; and one sister, Janice Milholland of Greenwood, Ind. He will always be cherished and loved.
Funeral Service will be 1pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
