JEAN A. KEEL, 74, of Denver,Colo., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018. She was born Sept. 25, 1943, in Wab-ash County, Ind., a daughter of Clyde and Irene Little field. In 1972, she married William R. Keel after they met in the Navy. Their children Michelle and Walter followed. After both retired from the Navy, the family moved cross-country several times before returning to Indiana in 2007. Last year, Jean moved to Denver to be closer to her children. "Jean brought joy and a welcoming openness to all who met her and she will be deeply missed". Surviving are her loving children; one sister; and her nieces, nephews and their families. A celebration of life is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
