Janice Eileen Schoenherr

Janice Eileen Schoenherr, age 76, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Janice was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on August 11, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Doris Eileen and Doyle Eugene Rice. Janice will be sadly missed by her husband, Jerry F. Schoenherr of Auburn, Indiana; her daughter, Debra L. Morris of Fort Wayne; her son, Jerry D. Schoenherr of Auburn, Indiana; along with ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Doris Eileen and Doyle Eugene Rice, along with her six siblings, Tootie Fidler, Jean Ann Fidler, Paul Eugene Dantzer, Jim Rice, Carol Ann Hans, and Doyle Rice Jr. and a grandson, Jacob E. Schoenherr. Janice loved her dogs. Her babies, Lady-Baby and Precious were her favorite Dachshunds. Lady and Baby were her little Yorkies, and Peddles, her sister’s little Chihuahua. She spoiled her babies rotten. Janice loved to bake and cook for her family. She always had huge bowls of cookies, candy and fudge every holiday. She also had a talent for wedding cakes that she enjoyed creating for family and friends. She also loved to be out on the lake fishing. She and Jerry spent many summers on the lake in their camper, enjoying their time fishing, doing puzzles, and word searches.
