Harry F. Byers

Harry F. Byers, 64, passed away July 9, 2018. He was born in Huntington, Mass on July 21, 1953, the son of the late Robert and Lucille Avery. Harry served in the Army and was a member of The Gloria Di Lutheran Church. He worked at Essex for some time where he met his wife Sue who he spent 24 wonderful years of marriage with. Harry and Sue had the pleasure of driving truck together for several years. Harry enjoyed fishing, and Riding his Harley traveling to a variety of places with his wife. Surviving are his wife Connie “Sue” Byers; siblings, Ernest (Diane) Byers, Bonnie (Leon) Boguszewski, Linda (Steve) Slowey; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 14 at 2pm with calling 1 hour prior at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Wayne VA.
