Gordon Bud L. Cornell

GORDON CORNELL, 89 of Fort Wayne, died March 21, 2012. He was born to the late Jay and Margaret Cornell. On March 13, 1923. He graduated from 12 Mile High School. He served in the Marines and fought in both WWII and the Korean War. He was a train dispatcher for Conrail Railroad. He was married to Edna A. (Harrold) Cornell for 65 years. They had 3 children together, Susan (Dewey) Miller, Kathy Rhodes, Bruce (Cindy) Cornell of Belton, MS. He had 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great-Grandchildren. Funeral service is Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 10:30 am, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells Street. Visisitation is Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
