Gerald "Jerry" O. Fox

Gerald O. “Jerry” Fox, 91 of Churubusco, IN passed away August 31, 2018. Jerry was born July 9, 1927 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Walter R. and Frances M. (Siefer) Fox. He was the Founder and Co-Owner of Fox & Fox Frame Service and previously with Body and Fender from 1946-1963. Jerry was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, member of St. Vincent DePaul Society and Holy Name Society, and a Lifetime Sponsor of Ducks Unlimited. He proudly served his country in the U S Navy in the Seabee’s during World War II. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, whom he married on June 18, 1949, Dolores H. (Lubomirski) Fox of Churubusco, IN, his children, Richard G. (Joellyn) Fox of Fort Wayne, IN, Barbara M. (Robert) A’Hearn of Churubusco, IN, Patricia (Timothy E.) Fisher of Churubusco, IN, brothers, Thomas C (Alyce) Fox of Fort Wayne, IN, Paul E. Fox of Anderson, IN, sisters, Betty Tom of Angola, IN, Georgean (Paul) Dice of Huntertown, IN, and Margie Schnurr of Dallas, TX, 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Norma Gordon and brother-in-law’s, Don Schnurr and Edward Tom. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 11 AM at St Vincent DePaul Catholic Church 1502 E. Wallen Road Fort Wayne, IN with visitation Monday, September 3, 2018 2-4 & 6-8 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home- Pine Valley 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN. Additional visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow the service at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church Cemetery- Ft. Wayne IN.
