Francis Jastrzemski

Francis was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 16, 1927. Son of Frank and Clara. He attended Woodward High School where he played football. Then enlisted in the Navy then was drafted into the Army serving in both WW II and the Korean War

Francis was the owner of Mr. Franks Styling Salons in Fort Wayne until retiring in 2013. He looked forward to watching his Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturdays. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and bowler. He enjoyed woodworking and built his own house.

Francis was a very active member of St. Vincent Catholic church in the day he was President of the Mens Club, ran the athletic smoker for a number of years, started and ran the church Bingo and coached football. No matter what was going on in his life Francis always had time for his Family.

Francis was married to the late Doris Jean Jastrzemski (Kerch) for 69 years.

Francis is survived by Sandra (Daughter-in-law), Kathleen and Richard (Wolfe Jr.), Timothy and Dayra, Patrick and Roxanne, Maureen and Michael (Williams). 22 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Francis is preceded in death by his Son Michael, his Parents, Two Brothers, a Grandson and a Granddaughter

Internment will be held at Highland Park Cemetery, 2403 E. Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, IN on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
