Elaine Frances Walker

Elaine Frances Walker 83, of Ft. Wayne, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Friday Oct 9, 2015 at home. She graduated from Jefferson Center, Butler University and Indiana University. She had many accomplishments which included being a switchboard operator, a psychomitrist, owning and managing a Jewelry Store, owning and operating a concrete construction company, and being a teacher and an assistant principal. She was born in Laud and moved to Columbia City, she has also lived in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis and Lafayette. She is survived by her children, Beverly Fields, Katherine Alvey , Daniel Walker. She is also survived by brothers Eugene and Kenneth White, seven Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert Herald White and Margaret Bell Ward White. Celebration of Life services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Life Bridge Church 12719 Corbin Rd Ft.
