Dorothy B. Gable, 85, of Fort Wayne, died peacefully on September 21, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. The Montpelier, Ohio, native was the daughter of the late Devillo and Rachel Zimmerman, a practical nurse for 22 years, and a member of Crescent Ave. United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne, and an active member of the Army & Navy Union USA Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her Daughter; Sue Ann Tucker, Grandson Nathaniel Bartel, Sister; Laura Lowe, Friend Richard Bollinger, and One Great-Grandson. She was also preceded in death by her Husband; Bill Gable, and Brother; Theodore Zimmerman.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, October 6, at Klaehn, Fahl, and Melton Funeral Homes Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 10 AM to 12 PM, prior to service. Memorial contributions may be given to Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne, The Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, or any SPCA
