Remembered as a loving sister and a devoted mother, Donna’s warmth and kindness touched many lives over the years. She was the beloved sister of Sara Scharringhausen (Kent); cherished aunt to Melissa Elliott; grandmother of Megan Middaugh; and great-grandmother to Savannah, Kensley and Leland.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Harold Rashky; her husband, Carl E. Rittenhouse; and her son, Carl B. Rittenhouse who passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024.
A service in honor of Donna will be held at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, with visitation one hour prior. Entombment to follow at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Fort Wayne.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, an organization close to her heart.
