OBITUARY
Donald N. Vandeway
20 September, 1932 – 24 January, 2011
DONALD N. VANDEWAY, 78, of Spencerville, died Monday, January 24, 2011, 8:00a.m., at his residence. Born September 20, 1932, in Monument, Kansas, he was the son of the late Frank Vandeway and Otta Mae (Jones). He served in the U.S. Army and was a boiler maker at Frasers Boiler Co., retiring after 20 years of service in 1999. Surviving are his son, Robert (Colleen) Vandeway of Spencerville; daughter, Deborah (Frank) Fleming of Silverdale, Washington; two brothers, Wayne Vandeway of Arizona and James Vandeway of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sisters, Virginia Spaulding of Everett, Washington and Mary Jo Baker of Coco Beach, Florida; four grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Felix Vandeway. Memorial service is 4 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Apostolic Church, Grabill, with calling from 2 to 4 p.m. and military honors.
