Donald Eugene Parker

Donald E. Parker, 80, of Fort Wayne, went to his heavenly home Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was the son of the late Kenneth and Geraldine Parker. He was a retired electrician and member of the IBEW Local #305 for over 56 years. He enjoyed watching IU Basketball and Chicago Bears Football; golfing, gardening, playing cards, and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy Parker; daughter, Lisa (Glenn) South; son, Brian (Aisa) Parker; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Darell (Barb) Parker; sister, Bev Blanchard; and brother-in-law, Bob Balyeat. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Balyeat. He was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church, 4900 Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46807, where his funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Visitation will also be on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Burial will be at Tocsin Prairie View Cemetery. Contributions in Donald's memory may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
