David K. "Dave" Strater

David K. “Dave” Strater, 64, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on November 14, 2024. He was born on May 16, 1960 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Keith and Mildred (Meagher) Strater. He graduated from Northrop High School. He later graduated from IPFW. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant for Lincoln Life Insurance Company for more than 30 years. In his free time, he could be found enjoying the outdoors, mainly hunting and fishing. Surviving family include his daughter, Rachael Ringenberg; grandchildren, Clayton McMahan, Alicia McMahan, Samantha Ringenberg, and Austin Ringenberg; sister, Judy Sheets; and son-in-law, Jared McMahan. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his daughter, Renae Strater. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne with viewing two hours priors. Burial will be in Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco, Indiana.
