Dakota Lee Miller

Dakota Miller, 29, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at his home in Harlan, IN. He was born November 29, 1990 in Fort Wayne, IN. Dakota attended and played baseball at North Side High School and graduated from Chrysler High School in New Castle, IN. Dakota worked at Shiloh Industries in Auburn, IN and was very proud of his accomplishments. He was very adventurous and spontaneous and always ready for a new experience. He enjoyed sky diving, camping, hiking, mushroom hunting with his brother, and was always the life of the party. Dakota is survived by his daughter, Leah Cook; mother, Kellie Myers of Harlan, IN; step-father, Brad (Monica) Myers; brother, Ian-Bradley Myers; grandparents, Shirley Miller of Fort Wayne, IN, Trude (Bill Eicher) Myers of Spencerville, IN; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to name. Dakota was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Miller. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2020 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home (1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior. Calling also Friday, September 25, 2020 from 4-8 pm.
