Christopher Frederick Raue, 57, passed away November 19, 2024, at his home in Leo, Ind. He was born May 1, 1967, the son of the late Siegfried Frederick Raue and Zola Rogers, whom survives. Christopher graduated from Carroll High School in 1985 and earned his associates from Vincennes University. He was an airplane mechanic and retired from Southwest Airlines after a combine 30 years in the profession. He was also a member of the Aircraft Mechanics Union.
He enjoyed working with his hands, and could fix just about anything. Christopher was an avid outdoorsman and like snowmobiling, riding dirt bikes, skiing, fishing, but his passion in life was spending time with his family.
Christopher is survived by his son, Christopher O. Raue of Huntertown, IN; mother, Zola Rogers of Leo, IN; sisters, Michelle (Scott) Zollinger of Leo, IN; Gretchen (Todd) Chin of Fort Wayne, IN; Sigrid (Brad) Long of Auburn, IN; Sonya (Aaron) Anderson, FL; grandchildren, Maddy and Christopher Raue.
Funeral Service 1:30 pm. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday, November 25, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial and Committal at Leo Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
