Charolette Lawanna Robinson, age 91, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Charolette was born December 4, 1930 in Fort Wayne, to the late Fred and Bernadean (Weber) Waltenburg. Charolette was a graduate of South Side High School. Later on, she would meet the love of her life, Kermit L. Robinson; the couple were introduced to one another by Kermit's uncle. They would marry on November 11, 1952 in Fort Wayne. From this union, Charolette bore Kermit three children; Kathy, Bruce and Barb. Charolette was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Haven. Charolette would remain in Fort Wayne for the rest of her life. She retired from Colwell General, as a machine operator, after some twenty-five years. Surviving Charolette are her children, Kathy of Fort Wayne, Bruce of New Haven and Barb of Wisconsin. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are Charolette's sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Adams, and William "Bill" Waltenburg, her brother. Charolette's beloved husband, Kermit, preceded her in death, on August 30, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Walker, and her brothers, Robert "Bob" Waltenburg and Fred Waltenburg. A Celebration of Life for Charolette will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Advantage Mungovan Funeral & Cremation Services, 2114 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Britney Sloffer wil officiate. Charolette and Kermit will be laid to rest at the Brinkley Family Cemetery, Burnsville, North Carolina.
