Carroll Eugene Fogwell

Carroll Eugene Fogwell, 93, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. He was born on October 23, 1930 in Union Township, a son of the late Frank and Gertrude (Keplinger) Fogwell. Carroll taught for LaGrange, Arcola and Fort Wayne Community Schools. Besides teaching, he worked in construction and also owned ABC Painting and Hauling. He was an avid college sports fan, especially Ohio State and Purdue. Carroll was a man of faith who had a passion for sharing the word. Carroll is survived by his stepdaughter, Rosemary Jane Ashenfelter (David) White; stepsons, Tim (Tracy) and Dan (Terri) Ashenfelter; five step grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in passing by his wife, Rosemary Margaret (Funderburg Ashenfelter) Fogwell; and siblings, Merritt Fogwell, Mary Helmke, Martha Imel, and Jean Hively.
