Carolyn S. Ream, 76, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was born August 27, 1946 in Wabash, Indiana, a daughter of the late Gerald and Myrtle (Earl) Ream. She worked as a claims adjuster for 40 years at North American Van Line before retiring. She was a member at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne and served as the nursery director for many years. She will be remembered for her artistic abilities, enjoying crafts, photography, and painting. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, collecting many items including elephants and Boyds Bears, and Asian culture. She served as a Cub Scout Leader and regularly spent time at and organizing family and friend gatherings, they were all very important to her. Surviving family include her sister, Bev Brandt; nephew, Chris Brandt; niece, Katie (Andrew) Biddle; great nieces, Chloe and Leah; and great nephew, Isaiah. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her great nephew, Micah; and brother-in-law, Ed Brandt. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
