Carol Ann Metcalf

Carol Ann Metcalf, 78, of Fort Wayne passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. She was born on August 14, 1944 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Harlan and Maybelle (Gumbert) Lee. She worked for more than 20 years at Rogers, Scott’s, and Kroger grocery stores. She also worked at home caring for her family. In her free time, she enjoyed working with her flowers and being outdoors. She also had a love for animals, especially her pugs. Surviving family include her children, Rodney (Stephanie) and Diane Metcalf; grandson, Joshua; and siblings, Karen Rivas and Jeff Lee. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Steve Metcalf; and brother, Jim Lee. Celebration of life gathering will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control or Community Harvest Food Bank.
