Carol lived a fulfilling life, dedicating her time to family and passions. She spent many years as a stay-at-home mom before pursuing a successful career with Redwood & Ross and Andrew Davis Menswear. Her love for golf led her to play at numerous courses nationwide alongside her beloved husband Don.
From volunteering with numerous charities to spending half the year in Naples, Florida relaxing in the sun, Carol embraced every moment of her vibrant life. With an infectious enthusiasm and caring heart, she left an indelible mark on everyone around her, especially through lifelong friendships fostered over lunches and shared adventures.
Her unwavering devotion to her loved ones and cherished memories made during 61 blissful years with Don, Carol's legacy shines brightly - inspiring all who knew her to embrace each day with purpose, joy, and boundless love.
Carol was loved by so many. She is survived by her daughters, Susie (Scott) DeMell of Solon, OH; Amy (Chris) Spiritoso of Fort Wayne, IN; and grandchildren, Becky, Jessie and Katie Probert and Madison and Abby Spiritoso.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Menze; both of her parents, Clarence and Frances Glass and infant son, Brian Scott Menze.
A visitation for Carol will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Carol's memory to Southwest Lutheran Church, 5120 Homestead Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46814.
