Carl S. Crickmore

Carl S. Crickmore, 75, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011. He was born on May 20, 1935 in Ft. Wayne to the late Frederick and Martha (Worley) Crickmore. He retired from the Zollner Piston Corporation. He laid carpet for Clark and Mitchell. He also served on the Poe fire department. He greatly enjoyed camping and fishing. Surviving relatives include his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Crickmore of Ft. Wayne; children, Stanley Crickmore of Fort Wayne, Mark Crickmore of Columbia City, Ann (Randy) McCallister of Florida; 4 grandchildren; and brother, Richard Crickmore. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers George and Roger Crickmore; sister, Doris Ford; and grandson, Mark Allen Crickmore II. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 4-8 on Friday, April 8, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Berne.
