Caes D. Gruesbeck

Caes D. Gruesbeck, 20, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023. Caes shared a simple and sincere love, which will be missed and remembered, as he went home to our Lord and Savior before many of us were ready. Some of his loves in life were; getting to know people, music, hiking, campfires, plants, nature (except direct sunlight), video games and visiting with family and friends. Caes was born May 18, 2002 in Fort Wayne. He was a graduate of Wayne High School and was employed at a Distribution Center. Surviving Caes are his mother, Tracey Gruesbeck of Fort Wayne; grandparents, David and Marilyn Parnin of Brooksville, FL and Cees and Rita van der Wal of Zanvoort, Netherlands; aunt, Nancy Bosch of Albion; and uncles, Phil (Meredith) Parnin of Brownsburg, IN and Chad Parnin of Tampa, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary L. Gruesbeck in 2021; grandmother, Geraldine van der Wal; great grandmother, Tetje (Walter) Duane, uncles, Wim Bosch and Barry Gruesbeck; and aunt Gloria (Jack) Cook. A visitation and time of remembrance for Caes will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819. Preferred memorials in memory of Caes may be made to the Fort Wayne Botanical Conservatory.
