Betty G. (Uhlig) Walter

Betty was a member of New Life Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, a graduate of Central High School. She was a full time homemaker, and loved making cakes. Betty is survived by her son, William Walter; daughters, Elaine (Curtis) Morgan, Sharon Walter, and Susan Walter; grandsons, William (Suzanne) Rose, and Justin (Michelle) Cockle; five great-grandchildren, Michael, Christian, Hailey, Emma, and Lauren; and sisters, Mildred Keuneke, and Mary Vandre. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Walter; two sisters; and one brother.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home (6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne), with calling one hour prior. Pastor James Keller will be officiating. Calling will also be from 2 to 5pm on Friday, July 23, 2021, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne, at a later date.
