BETTY S. PUGH HENNING, 96, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, at Lutheran Life Villages. Born June 8, 1920, in Kendall ville, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Herbert D. Pugh and Anna (Williams) Pugh. She was the head librarian at in the Young Adult Department at Allen County Public Library, where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church, SORONIAN Literary Society, and Beta Phi Mu Honorary Society.
Surviving are her brother, Robert W. Pugh of Fort Wayne and cousins, Dean Cutshall of Fort Wayne and Cynthia (Cutshall) Barker of Carmel, Ind.
Memorial service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Plymouth Congregational Church, with calling one hour prior. Preferred memorials to Olivet College or the church. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St..
