Alisa Marie True

Alisa Marie True, age 40, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 15, 1983. Alisa earned her GED from Anthis Career Center and continued her education at Ivy Tech University in the field of nursing, earning the Dean's List designation. Alisa enjoyed cooking which was only surpassed by her love for spending time with friends and family. Alisa is survived by her children, Damon Shaffer, Gage Verschure, Vincent True III, Sophia True, and Isabella Lee; mother, Kimberly Sampson; siblings, Cameron (Brittney) Slusher, Chad Sampson; grandmother, Concetta Grogg. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Von Grogg Sr. Funeral Service is 10 am on Friday, September 29, 2023 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Ave, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Friends and family will also be received from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the funeral home. Interment at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Kimberly Sampson for her children's education fund.
