Virginia Ruth Magness, 85 of Alma, passed away on September 15, 2022 peacefully in her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles & Virginia Magness, brothers Paul Edward, Joseph and John Magness and sister Kathleen Magness.
Virginia was born on March 16, 1937 to Charles & Virginia (Daniels) Magness in Richmond, WV. She was one of four children before moving to California, where she gained three more siblings. She worked at a private financial company in California before moving to Fort Smith in her later years to help care for her sister and parents. She was a selfless caregiver, loving aunt, and enjoyed playing board games, but most of the time you could find her reading multiple books at a time.
Virginia will be missed by her sister Anita Magness and two brothers, Stephen and James D. Magness along with many nieces and nephews.
