Virgil Lyles, 89, passed from this life October 6, 2024 in Fort Smith. He was born June 4, 1935 in Jones, OK to Jessie William Lyles and Elsie Louise (Kelly) Lyles. Virgil was retired from Gerber, and he enjoyed play his guitar and singing. He also loved to fish and hunt.
He is survived by his children, Chris Tucker, Curtis Tucker, Ray Tucker, Crystal Tucker, Charlotte Ellison, Ruthie Thibodeaux, Janie Silva, Catherine Maples; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 5 – 7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be 2 PM Thursday at Roselawn Cemetery.
