Timothy Scott Newton, 43 of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016. He was born March 22, 1972 in Conroe, TX. He was a lover of history and politics, a dedicated and loving father, and had the wonderful ability to make people laugh. His kind heart will live on in those who knew him best. He was preceded in death by his father Roger Keith Newton, two sisters; Stephanie Fondren and Susan Smith.
Memorial service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel.
Timothy is survived by his wife Gennevie Ashcraft of the home, his son Ethan Lea Michael Ashcraft-Newton, his mother; Saundra Newton, his sister Sherry Hicks of Dardanelle and Stacy Burkett of Clarksville.
