Susan Rose Sharum, 56 of Fort Smith, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born on June 18, 1968 in Van Nuys, CA. Susan was a professional dog groomer for 42 years, worked at WWL, and later worked for the Department of Human Services. She was of the Christian faith. In marriage, Susie was first united with John Wade, a union that lasted until his passing, before finding love once more with her surviving husband, Graham Sharum.
She was a once in a lifetime person to know and love. She was involved in the community, loved animals, enjoyed traveling, loved her family, and had a hell of a laugh! The most important thing in life is to love and to be loved, and she was so.
She is survived by her husband Graham Sharum; a daughter, Moorea Wade, a son, Chad Wade and wife Jill, two grandchildren, Noah and Levi Wade, nephew Robert Wade wife Hannah, brother-in-law Jerry Sharum wife Kristen, niece and nephews, Katie, Sam, and Marcus Sharum, and half-sister, Charlee Ryan. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Frances Wade and her father-in-law, Daniel Sharum, embraced later in life, the Campbell Family, and best friends, Melissa and Bill Sinclair.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Courtyard by Marriott – 900 Rogers Ave, Fort Smith Downtown, AR, 72901 – Monday, December 9, 2024; 6pm – 9pm. Live plants and pictures are welcome to be sent to the hotel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
