Samantha Michelle Kerr-Koons

Samantha Michelle Kerr-Koons, 35 of Oklahoma City passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 2, 2016 in Pittsburg, KS. She was born December 31, 1980 to William and Elizabeth Kerr. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, and the Boy Scouts of America. She was a Unit Secretary at Norman Regional Hospital. She was a Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Friday, September 9, 2016 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.

Samantha is survived by her husband Billy of the home, her parents William and Elizabeth Kerr of Arkoma, her brother Jonathan Kerr of Arkoma, grandparents Marvin and Jean Copenhaver of Ft. Smith, her in-laws Steve and Anna Koons of Bartlesville, OK, Grandmother-in-law Rosemary Isom of Oklahoma City, Sister-in-law Angela Baggs and her husband Alex and their two children Cantyn and Kanyon Baggs all of Oklahoma City, OK, her aunt and uncle Bill and Emily Barton of Lavaca and her uncle Gus Copenhaver of Ft. Smith, Uncle and aunt Vernon and Katie Kerr and uncle Charles Kerr.

Pallbearers will be Gus Copenhaver, Jonathan Kerr, Cliff Hiatt, Darral Green, Alex Baggs, and Bill Barton.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
