Roy Carson Neal, 77, of Fort Smith, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015. Roy was born in 1938, to the late Martin Luther and Beuna Tisha Brown Neal, in Cowlington, Oklahoma. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a Retiree of Whirlpool. He loved God’s creation, and enjoyed being outdoors as much as he could. Roy was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. Roy’s surviving family is his wife, Faye, to whom he was married 56 years, his two daughters, Rhonda Ladd and her husband Calvin, of Lavaca Arkansas and Gayle Hill and her husband Tim, of Texarkana, Texas, and one son, Brion Neal and his wife Mary, of Fort Smith. He also has five grandsons; Andy and Josh Ladd, Hays and Tiylor Hill, and Chasen King. His two granddaughters are Tisha King and Tiffany Hill. In addition, he also has nine great grandchildren. Services for Mr. Neal will be held on Monday, October 19th, at 1 pm, in the sanctuary, of First Baptist Church, in Fort Smith. Interment will follow, at Hall Cemetery, in Natural Dam, Arkansas. Visitation will be held, on Sunday, October 18th, between the hours of 3pm and 5pm, in the chapel of Fentress Mortuary. Pallbearers for Mr. Neal, will be his grandsons, Andy, Josh, Hays, Tiylor, Chasen and also Noah Riggs. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Tom Gray’s Sunday school class.
