Roger Miller, 74, of Fort Smith, passed from this life September 11, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was born April 18, 1944, in Butler, Missouri to the late Lester and Ilene Harrell Miller. Before retiring from Trane, Roger traveled the world installing, trouble shooting and perfecting air handling systems. Roger’s life found direction and became anchored when he met and married his wife Mary.
In this union, Roger was given a new life and was shown the meaning of home and family. Gifts that he treasured dearly. Roger was a student of different religions, and was deeply devoted to God. Faith and family were his passions. Roger was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith and was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Roger would like this message shared, “Breathe healthily, live happily. Quit smoking for your health.”
He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Paul Pickle and his wife Jana of Poteau; two brothers, Jerry and Paul Miller both of Texas; as well as three grandchildren, Ashley, Dylan and Sam.
