Reame Sawyer

Reame Sawyer, 80, of Fort Smith, died June 27, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born January 31, 1932 in Dallas, TX to Milford O. and Leaureame McDavid Rouse. She was a Substitute Teacher for the Fort Smith Public School System for 30 years, a member of South Side Baptist Church and the Bykota Sunday School Class. She was active with the Interfaith Community Center, the Sparks Foundation, and a member of P.E.O., but above all a Devoted Grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Curtis Sawyer of the Home; one daughter, Marianne and husband David Stambaugh of Tulsa, OK; one son, Curtis and wife Jeannine Sawyer of Russellville, AR; six grandchildren, Dalton & wife Felicia Sawyer, Genevieve Sawyer Baumann and husband Greg, Caitlin Sawyer, Kate Stambaugh, Hilary Stambaugh and Jonathan Stambaugh; and two great grandchildren, Brendan & Elliott Baumann. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Owen Sawyer.

Memorial service will be Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be Friday, June 29, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, TX all under the direction Edwards Funeral Home. The body may be viewed Thursday from 10 AM to 5 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends following the Memorial Service until 4:30 at in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel
