Philip Judson Bennett went to receive his Heavenly reward on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. He was a great inspiration to all who had the honor of knowing him. Philip handled his health problems with incredible dignity and faith, and even though he faced many hardships, he always seemed to have a smile on his face. He never said an unkind word about anyone. Philip’s favorite chapter in the Bible was Psalms One, and he greatly enjoyed reading and reciting Scripture. Above all, Philip’s faith and love for his family were the most important things in his life.

Philip was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood.
