Nelson Allen Hall

Nelson Allen Hall, 66, of Fort Smith, died March 23, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born November 26, 1947 in Fort Smith to Nelson and Lucille Cole Hall. He was the bookkeeper for Cook Construction of Fort Smith, and current member of the NRA and the Old fort Gun Club, and past member of the Corvette Club. Allen was known for his calm demeanor and was referred to by all who knew him as the Nicest Guy. He is survived by cousins: Barbara Conrady and husband Stephen who considered him more of a brother than a cousin, David Whitson and wife Nancy of Spiro, Ok, Linda Sirmon of Fort Smith, Jonsey Bailey and husband Aaron of Dayton, AR, and Tammy Burrell and husband George of Roland, OK; lifetime friends, John and Kathy Furstenberg of Fort Smith and James Wagner of Cleburne, Texas. A memorial celebration of Allen’s life will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
