She was born on June 10, 1961, in Lubbock, Texas, to Orville and Barbara (Blackford) Carson.
Marilyn’s greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. She poured her heart into her family, always putting their needs first and doing whatever she could to support and care for them. Known for her strong will and determination, Marilyn was someone who could accomplish anything she set her mind to.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Stephen Coughran, and their daughter, Kalie Coughran.
Marilyn leaves behind a legacy of love, carried on by her sons, Derek Coughran and Scotty Coughran and his wife Jessica; her cherished grandchildren, Stephen, Mason, Aiden Coughran, and Blaze Vest; and her sisters, Joy Riley and husband Ray, Charlotte Thornburg, and Dennie. She will also be deeply missed by many other family members and friends.
