Ms. Mamie D. White, age 78 of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at home with her family. She was born on September 25, 1934 in Yell County and was the daughter of Earl and Pauline (Bolden) Stinnett. She was preceded in death by her brother Tommy Stinnett and a sister, Janie Banhart. She left behind her son, Bill White; daughter, Mary and a son-in-law, Dallas Adams. Grandchildren and families: Victoria and Jayme Frianeza of Yorktown Virginia, Richard and Heather Nelson of Charleston, Matthew and Alisha Nelson of Altus, David Weathers of Fort Smith, and Jessica Smith of Fort Smith, and four step-grandchildren in California. Great-grandchildren: Zamora Dell N. Frianeza, Olivia Rose Weathers, Alyssa N. Frianeza, and Rya Dawn Nelson, and four step-great-grandchildren. Ms. White retired from Madera Glass Co. in Madera California, where she was a line inspector, and spent her retirement loving her family. Everyone knew her as Grandma and she was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
There are no services, she will be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
